Antico Feudo San Giorgio is a 4 stars farmhouse, plunged in the natural park of �Madonie� at 700 meters of altitude, halfway between Palermo and Catania, and placed only 4 km far from exit "Tre Monzelli" of motorway Palermo-Catania. The farmhouse originates by restoring the left wing of the typical Sicilian masseria ��u bagghiu�; therefore this renovation has given a new life to a lot of rooms fallen into disuse since many years. All the complex (farm and lodgings) hands down for generations in the noble family Fatta della Fratta. The present owners/managers are Giancorrado and Fabiola Fatta della Fratta who, courageously, have promoted the restructure and then have started up the farmhouse activity. The main cultivations, all organic, practised in the over 200 hectares of land are: wheat, forages, olive grove, vineyard, wood, kitchen garden. The accommodations possible are full/half board and bed and breakfast in apartments (some with small cookery) and rooms with bathroom; the maximum capability of Antico Feudo San Giorgio is about 50 place. The apartments and the rooms are well furnished, in order to make feel the visitor at home and give him the maximum comfort. The cooking is rigorously based on typical produces of �Madonie� and seasonal vegetables, making mostly use of all that is directly available in the farm such as oil, wine, many vegetables, meet and buying the other on the local market. The guests can watch television in the club house and children can play in the open air or ride the ponies; there are a ping pong, mountain bikes and swimming pool at tourist�s disposal; it�s possible to get in touch with local guides to make excursions near the Antico Feudo San Giorgio or in the villages more characteristic of the region like Polizzi Generosa, Petralia, Gangi, Geraci.
